Job Description
Main purpose of job:
To provide administrative support to the Corporate Services Section in finance, accountancy, procurement and other related subjects.
Roles and responsibilities:
- To provide administrative support on all corporate paperwork and improving filing and organisational systems
- To provide support (back up) to estate work as needed
- To provide support (back up) to finance and administrative work as needed
- Focus on effective customer service, ensuring that the estates service is professional and in line with the post corporate services charter, identifying ways to deliver a more efficient and effective service
- Stay up to date with all related compulsory training needs
- Contribute to the wider well-being and effectiveness of the Embassy (e.g. participation in committees etc.)
Essential qualifications, skills and experience
- Ability to speak, read and write English and French confidently
- Higher Education in business administration, finance, logistics or other
- Good knowledge of MS excel and other MS office Programmes
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
Language requirements:
Language: French and English
Level of language required: Spoken and written
Desirable qualifications, skills and experience
- Organised, efficient, self-starter, meet deadline, flexibility
- Ability to work well in a small team, sometimes under pressure
