Background
The aim of the Internship Programme at OSCE Mission in Kosovo is to: provide a framework for graduate and post graduate students or recent graduates or postgraduates to develop their professional skills and gain practical work experience in an international environment; to expose them to the work of the OSCE and to provide departments with the assistance of qualified interns specialized in various professional fields. Monitoring Department is offering an internship in the Governance Section. The maximum duration of the internship is 6 months.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Governance Section, the intern will be:
* Supporting the Section in the drafting of reports on a broad range of good governance issues in Kosovo and reviewing of draft legislation;
* Conducting research on standards of Rule of Law and Democratic Governance;
* Supporting the Section in its back-up to the field structure (legal advice, trainings, etc);
* Providing general support to the Section in the implementation of its regular activities;
* Performing related duties as required.
Necessary Qualifications:
* Graduate student in one of the following: law, political science, international relations or public administration;
* Good working knowledge of English, both oral and written; knowledge of other local languages would be an asset;
* Experience in using the Microsoft Office package;
* The upper age limit for applicants is 30 years of age.
Remuneration Package:
The OSCE does not provide any allowances, remuneration nor reimbursement of travel expenses to interns.
