Job Description

Title: International Education Programs Consultant
Location: Remote or Global
Position Type: Consultant (project-based)
Application Deadline: Rolling

Who We Are:

Geneva Global is a U.S.-based philanthropy advisory firm and
a member of Global Impact Ventures. Over the past 15 years, Geneva Global has
implemented an accelerated education program called Speed School in Ethiopia
and Uganda. In recent years, our support has broadened to strengthening overall
basic education access, quality, and relevance in these and other countries.

Anticipating growth in the coming months, Geneva Global is seeking to identify global education experts who
may be available and suited to support our work as consultants. This is an open call to build a pool of qualified professionals who can be engaged across a variety of upcoming assignments.

Our Approach

At Geneva Global, we take pride in doing things a bit
differently. This manifests in two main ways:

We are not satisfied simply to conduct excellent projects—we aim to imbue host systems with the capacity,
confidence, and commitment to sustain and scale what we have accomplished with them once our involvement
ends.

We foster these “three Cs” by looking beyond the what of an intervention to focus on the how—equipping
system stakeholders with the knowledge and skills they need to implement programs effectively and sustainably.

Areas of Expertise

We are specifically seeking candidates with deep experience
and expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Pedagogic practice for foundational learning

Teacher training, supervision, and support

Monitoring, evaluation, learning, and research

Competency-based instruction and learning

Youth and nonformal/TVET education

Life skills education and school-to-work transitions

Education systems change

Education in emergency (EiE) settings, including
psychosocial support and mental health

Gender equity and inclusion in education

Desired Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who meet many of the following qualifications:

5+ years of professional experience in global education

Experience working cross-culturally and in-country in
sub-Saharan Africa

Experience engaging with diverse funders, including UN
agencies and bilateral/multilateral donors (e.g., UNICEF, USAID, GPE, FCDO)

Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical
deliverables (e.g., training materials, evaluation reports, policy guidance)

Experience facilitating trainings, workshops, and/or
capacity-building sessions

Proficiency in additional languages (preferred)

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate
across cultures

How to Apply

With your application, please submit a brief resume and cover letter
explaining why you are the right fit for this position.

Please note: This is an open call for consultants. While we may not have an immediate assignment
for every applicant, we are building a pool of qualified candidates for
upcoming opportunities. Top candidates will be kept on file and may be
contacted as relevant projects arise. We appreciate your interest and encourage
you to apply if your experience aligns with our work.
