Job Description
Our International Finance and Services department is currently recruiting for the position of an International Financial Analyst. The International Financial Analyst will be responsible to provide financial support in order to ensure a world-class finance function exists in every IR office globally. This will involve ensuring effective financial management and internal control risk management. Participating in the implementation of financial systems, financial analysis, being part of the rapid response team in humanitarian disasters. Supporting offices to build financial capacity in all aspects of finance & service delivery.
The successful candidate must have or be:
- Good management and financial accounting experience, including a pro-active approach to budget monitoring, reporting etc.
- Professional Degree holder or partly qualified finance and accounting professional studying towards, such as ACCA/ CIMA or any professional qualification
- Excellent communication skills in order to liaise with regional assigned countries
- Advance excel skills; in designing and manipulating reports
- Field working experience in challenging environments and hardship countries
- Ability to think strategically and manage the workload of multiple and remote locations
- Experience of donor reporting (EC, ECHO, DFID, USAID, DEC & UN agencies)
- Project accounting and budgets preparation
- High degree of computer literacy
- Ability to adapt to new situations and changing requirements
- Ability to develop and build capacities of staff
