Internship Opportunity: Community Empowerment Program

Location: Chiang Mai, Thailand
Department: Community Empowerment Program
Contract Type: Full-time, unpaid internship
Expected Start Date: Flexible (based on university requirement)

Your Mission

Internship Responsibilities:

• Support the development of training modules for peer educators and community beneficiaries.
• Assist with fieldwork, including accompanying Community Empowerment (CE) staff to field activities and co-facilitating sessions.
• Contribute to the creation of content such as video clips and online materials for social media.
• Assist with program development and implementation by researching relevant content, suggesting activities, and identifying contact networks.
• Support data entry for community programs using CE tools and Salesforce.
• Attend internal meetings and relevant training sessions to enhance knowledge and improve program delivery.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Your Profile

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• Fair command of English and fluency in Thai.
• Experience working with children and/or in community-based settings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with professional email/calendar systems.
• Experience facilitating activities.
• Previous involvement with non-profit organizations is an advantage.
• Understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles.

• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
• Proactive and goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
