UNICEF’s Digital Education and Learning Innovation portfolio supports governments and partners to strengthen education systems through equitable, safe, and effective use of digital technologies and AI. The portfolio includes global programmes, partnerships, knowledge products, and resource mobilization efforts that enable countries to scale impactful learning solutions.

To support growing partnership coordination, donor engagement, and knowledge management needs across the portfolio, UNICEF seeks an intern to provide analytical, coordination, and operational support to the Partnerships and Knowledge Management functions.

  • Supporting preparation of webinars or internal learning events (slides, notes, logistics)
  • Assisting with synthesizing research, reports, and evaluations into concise internal summaries
  • Supporting the updating of internal trackers or simple dashboards for programme information

Resource Mobilization Support

Under supervision, the intern may support selected resource mobilization tasks, such as:

  • Assisting with background research and compilation of inputs for donor proposals and concept notes
  • Supporting the preparation of short donor briefs, fact sheets, or evidence summaries
  • Helping gather results data, case studies, and examples for fundraising and donor communications
  • Supporting the organization of shared repositories of proposal templates and reference materials

Monitoring & Coordination Support

The intern may provide limited coordination and reporting support, including:

  • Assisting with consolidating updates from colleagues into internal summaries
  • Supporting preparation of internal briefing notes or progress updates
  • Helping maintain simple trackers for meetings, deliverables, or events

About the Organization

UNICEF is out to change the world for children vaccination by vaccination, blanket by blanket, biscuit by biscuit, book by book. In most of America, these things are considered completely ordinary. But in many parts of the developing world, they can save a child's life. UNICEF is unique among world organizations and unique among those working with young people. As a global movement, we use our authority to influence decision makers and diverse partners to turn the most innovative ideas into reality. In 155 countries and territories, UNICEF's field staff uses hard-won expertise to meet the challenges facing children and those who care for them. Our history has given us a profound understanding of development and the importance of child health, education, equality and protection in advancing humanity. All that we do helps children realize their full potential. In support of UNICEF's work, the U.S. Fund for UNICEF focuses on five major priorities: education, emergencies, HIV/AIDS, immunization and malnutrition.
