Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the External Affairs Coordinator, the intern will provide support in the following areas:
Required Qualifications
Education:
All Candidates must have a degree in Political Science, International Relations, Law, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or any related field. Candidates may also be in the final stages of their studies at a recognised university and are expected to have a very good academic record.
Experience:
Internship placements focus on candidates in the early stages of their professional careers. Practical experience is not an essential prerequisite for selection. Should there be a practical experience that is relevant to the work of the Court, it may be considered an asset. However, such working experience should not exceed 3 (three) years.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesised complex information clearly and concisely.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with SharePoint is desirable.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is an asset.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; proactive communicator and collaborator.
Experience with social media and digital communication tools is considered an advantage.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
Knowledge of Languages:
Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court, French or English, is required. Working knowledge of the other is desirable. Knowledge of another official language of the Court (Arabic, Chinese, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
