Das Jugendbeschäftigungsvorhaben in Sierra Leone unterstützt die sierra-leonische Regierung dabei, durch Privatwirtschaftsförderung (insbesondere im Bereich landwirtschaftliche Wertschöpfungsketten), Women Economic Empowerment und verbessertem Zugang von Unternehmer*innen zu Krediten den Nationalen Entwicklungsplan im Bereich “Nachhaltige Wirtschaftsentwicklung” umzusetzen. Das Vorhaben wird hauptsächlich in ländlichen, agrargeprägten Gegenden umgesetzt. Als Praktikant*in arbeiten Sie im Tagesgeschäft des Vorhabens mit und bekommen einen Einblick in die Arbeit der GIZ in einem bilateralen Partnerland der deutschen EZ. Außerdem unterstützen Sie die Programmleitung in den Bereichen M&E, Berichterstattung, Kommunikation mit der Zentrale und bei der Organisation von Besuchsreisen.
Ihre Aufgaben
Unterstützung im M&E des Vorhabens, u.a. durch die logistische und inhaltliche Vorbereitung von Monitoring Workshops.
Zuarbeit in der Berichterstattung des Vorhabens ans BMZ sowie in der Beantwortung von Anfragen des BMZ, der dt. Botschaft und der Zentrale.
Unterstützung bei der Erstellung von Kommunikationsmaterialien des Vorhabens, z.B. Factsheets, Internetauftritt, Präsentationen und Publikationen.
Mitwirken beim Veranstaltungsmanagement des Vorhabens (Workshops, Trainings, etc.) sowie in der Vorbereitung von Besuchsreisen.
Zuarbeit beim Wissens- und Informationsmanagement des Projekts.
Ihr Profil
Studium der Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Agrarwissenschaft, Geographie, Sozial- oder Politikwissenschaft oder vergleichbarer Studiengänge
Erste Erfahrungen in relevanten Fachbereichen
Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse wünschenswerte Kriterien / desirable criteria
Engagement, Teamgeist, Zuverlässigkeit und interkulturelles Verständnis

Most of our activities are commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
