Who we are looking for
You are a dedicated professional who will support our current investment pipeline team in the region in all tasks related to its operations. In particular, you will be supporting prospection, processing investment proposals and transactions as well as carrying out other support tasks related to reporting. You will work closely with our regional pipeline managers. The position is based in our Regional Office in Mexico City with reporting line to the Regional Manager. Job Description
Assist Pipeline Managers in preparing financial transactions with our investees and partner institutions (Term Sheets for transactions, etc.)
Process and administrate investment opportunities (post investment opportunities to the Broker List in the internal system, process and follow up the validation process)
Prepare, process and monitor transactions (support transactions by posting them for clients, informing funds of investment proposals and coordinating them with analysts)
Ensure the consistency of the Investment information published and proposed to clients, and update on an ongoing basis according to the latest discussions
Support tasks related to reporting (preparing regular and ad-hoc reports, presentations and fact sheets; tracking covenants and specific conditions that have been approved by our funds)
Contribute to market research and sector analysis
Requirements
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and detailed-oriented person who self-motivated and independent, and able to work in a systematic and structured way.
More specifically, you have the following skills and competencies:
You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent qualification
You can demonstrate 1-2 years previous finance work experience, dealing with financial data
You are able to organize yourself and work in a systematic and structured way
You have good analytical skills and strong attention to detail
You have strong Excel skills
You enjoy collaborating with others to reach common goals
You are comfortable to work in an international and multi-cultural workplace
You easily build trust with others by being down to earth, realistic and being open to other perspectives and ideas
You are adept and agile to perform in a fast-paced environment, and managing competing demands and priorities
You have a high level of integrity and confidentiality
You have an interest in impact finance and/or sustainable development
You are able to work comfortably in both English and Spanish.
You have a valid work permit for Mexico
