It’s hard to believe that today over 800 million people still don’t have clean, safe water and 2.5 billion live without a toilet. The resulting diseases kill one child every minute and negatively impact other vulnerable groups across the world.
WaterAid is looking for a Learning and Development Manager to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest communities. The jobholder will be based in WaterAid Nigeria country office in Abuja and work in this exciting global role to deliver outstanding learning and development interventions across WaterAid country programmes.
If you are a strong communicator and facilitator with credibility and influence and able to design creative and engaging learning interventions so that we are able to maximise the opportunities to get water and sanitation to the world’s poorest people, we would welcome your application.
Job purpose
The Learning and Development Manager makes an important contribution to the delivery of WaterAid’s global strategy through building capability across our country programme teams. Whilst this role will have a global remit, it will initially focus on building capabilities in one or more of our key priority countries.
