Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: The role will support organisation effectiveness by partnering with managers and staff on the development and implementation of Learning and Organisation Development (L&OD) solutions aligned to strategy, including culture change, transformation and embedding values and our Feminist Leadership approach in how we work, in the UK and Globally. A particular focus of the role will be to design, pilot, and evaluate a scalable and effective learning programme of core line management essentials for all OGB line managers, in a blended format.

Essentials

For this role, you will need to model Oxfam’s feminist leadership approach so we have selected the most relevant feminist leadership practices which we will use for assessment purposes (which you can read more about here):

In addition, an ideal candidate will also have:

  • Experience of designing, delivering and evaluating a comprehensive, blended management development programme of essential management skills, to diverse audiences
  • Experience of applying blended learning approaches and best practice
  • Experience of applying a 70-20-10 approach to learning and development
  • Demonstrates a clear commitment to our values, diversity and inclusion, and feminist principles, and have experience of applying these to L&OD interventions
  • Experience of using L&OD interventions to bring about change in a team or organisation, such as culture change initiatives, team coaching, leadership and management interventions, etc.
  • Experience in managing L&OD interventions, across the entire Learning cycle, from design to delivery and evaluation, to assess impact on the business, and to ensure learning and improvements to the intervention
  • Well developed relationship building skills, with evidence of working with senior colleagues, in order to deliver learning solutions that both meet learners’ needs and are aligned with the wider Oxfam approach
  • Experience in collaborating in geographically dispersed, complex organisations, that have embraced online learning as mode of delivery for effective learning
  • Effective project management skills to design deliver and implement at scale within project timescales

Desirable

  • Experience in coaching and/or mentoring
  • Understanding and/or experience of promoting resilience and wellbeing in the workplace
  • Experience of managing online learning management systems (e.g. Moodle, Totara)
