Mott MacDonald’s International Development Services (IDS) Unit is involved in more than 90 assignments in over 40 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Our areas of work are social sector development, economic development and governance, health and education, water and sanitation, environmental management, climate change, and integrated water resources management. Our clients are international funding institutions such as the EU, World Bank, UK Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO), Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and the African and Asian Development Banks (AfDB and ADB).
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our International Water Portfolio to provide technical and project management support to ongoing international projects in the water sector, and supporting business development activities. You will also provide support to the Account Leaders and work on the preparation of expressions of interest and proposals for new work.
For this role you will need experience of specifying and designing mechanical works in the water sector, have worked in a client facing role and have developed new business. Experience of working in a developing country would be advantageous.
