AIR’s International Development Division (IDD) is currently seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Specialist for the Afya Uwazi, USAID Health Supply Chain Third Party Monitoring (TPM) Activity.
Afya Uwazi is a USAID-funded, third-party monitoring mechanism focused on strengthening transparency and accountability in the health sector. It does so by gathering primary data from health facilities and other sites, analyzing secondary data from other sources, tracking key performance indicators, and estimating relevant risks.

ResponsibilitiesThe MEL Specialist is a key personnel position and a core member of the Afya Uwazi senior management team. Working with other senior staff, the MEL Specialist is responsible for providing a strategic vision for design, refinement, development and implementation of all monitoring, evaluation and learning activities in the project. In this role, s/he provides technical oversight and related consultative services of broad scope and complexity across all aspects of monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) and collaborating, learning and adapting (CLA) for third-party monitoring in the health sector.
