RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Engility Corporation, building on IRG’s legacy in international development, seeks a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to design and manage M&E and information systems for an upcoming USAID Feed the Future project focused on increasing the capacity and productivity of targeted agriculture value chains in Ethiopia. The Specialist will ensure that all activities are in line with the Agency Learning, Evaluation and Research policy ensuring that impact reporting includes cost/benefit analysis of interventions. Position is subject to successful award of the project

MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least a Master’s degree in business, economics, statistics, international development, or related fiel
  • At least 7 years’ technical experience in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans and results based managemen
  • Monitoring and Evaluation experience on a USAID-funded project is required
  • Experience developing database and M&E systems that capture both quantitative and qualitative indicators
  • Prior work on an agriculture, food security, value chain or similar project preferred
  • Experience working in Ethiopia preferred
  • Fluent in Amharic and excellent oral and written English language communication skills required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
