Introduction

The USAID Africa Trade and Investment (ATI) Activity is recruiting for multiple positions for its Morocco office. The team is looking for extremely well organized and self-directed individuals with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgement, and strong operational focus. Project Background

The USAID Africa Trade and Investment (ATI) program is a five-year, flexible buy-in mechanism jointly managed by the USAID Africa Bureau, Middle East Bureau, and Africa Regional Missions. It was designed to mobilize enterprise-driven solutions that increase trade and investment in Africa, including North and Sub-Saharan Africa. It strengthens Africa’s markets by developing new trade and investment relationships, particularly between the United States and African continent. It also works to achieves development outcomes across all sectors.

Open Positions

Activity / Project Manager

  • Position Summary: responsible for managing one or two large multi-year buy-in activities with significant labor and/or field presence, with support from technical advisors and the ATI team. Responsibilities also include providing technical and management support to buy-in activities, working with the technical and operational teams to identify and mobilize resources in support of implementation, and supporting USAID clients. The Activity Manager will supervise Activity Specialists and Activity Associates.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree in a relevant subject area preferred
  • 9+ years of project management experience

Activity / Project Associate

  • Position Summary: support the Activity Managers and Specialists with managing several large multi-year buy-in activities with significant labor and/or field presence, with support from technical advisors and the ATI team. Responsibilities include supporting technical and management support to buy-in activities, working with the technical and operational teams to identify and mobilize resources in support of implementation, and supporting USAID clients. The Activity Associate will support generating buy-in activity scopes of work, supporting the design of procurements and grants programs, tracking budgets, coordinating travel and other administrative support tasks as needed across ATI’s portfolio.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience

Grants Manager

  • Position Summary: support and contribute to the day-to-day administration of the ATI grants pool, ensuring compliance with USAID regulations and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 8+ years of experience required, experience in the administration of large, complex USAID-funded grants under contracts, and contracts is preferred.

Accountant

  • Position Summary: provide accounting and financial analysis support to the project office and will ensure submission of financial reports based on internal deadlines
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA, CPA or equivalent is a plus
  • 7+ years of experience required

Logistics Coordinator

  • Position Summary: provide administrative support to ATI implementation, coordinating and managing logistics services/needs required for project activities, travels and events in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 7+ years of operations/facilities management
