Job Title: National Peripatetic Service Manager

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

We are recruiting for a National Peripatetic Service Manager who will manage a team of peripatetic workers and peripatetic deputy service managers to ensure that the combined resources of the team are appropriately deployed to always meet the greatest need within Refuge. The post holder will also be deployed periodically to local services in order to provide management coverage and support. The post holder will work closely with the Senior Operations Managers to support the implementation of new services. This may involve visiting potential sites and contributing to the establishment of new services in conjunction with the development team.

The post-holder will liaise with the domestic violence services managers to support them in ensuring the effective running of refuges, outreach, and advocacy services nationally to the highest possible standard. The post holder will provide high quality support and safety planning to women and children in crisis. This will include refuge, advocacy, and outreach services.

The role involves also managing services as required in line with Refuge’s policies and procedures and quality management system. The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring that contractual and other funding requirements are met fully, and that Refuge’s high-quality standards are maintained.

The post holder must have the ability to travel across all of Refuge’s services, including rural locations, and to participate in the on-call management rota.
