Job Title: Nutritionist with Food Security Background

Overview: IBTCI is in search of a qualified Nutritionist with background in Food Security to join our evaluation team for the anticipated USAID/Zimbabwe Evaluation of Community Gardens’ Contribution to Household Income and Nutrition in Zimbabwe. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in evaluating the extent to which community gardens are positively impacting nutrition, with a specific focus on enhancing dietary diversity among women of reproductive age and children aged 6-23 months. This evaluation aims to provide valuable insights into the effectiveness and sustainability of community gardens, emphasizing their influence on dietary diversity, household income, and the essential prerequisites for their success and sustainability. The ideal Nutritionist should possess prior experience in similar evaluations, including proficiency in data collection and analysis. The period of engagement spans six months, commencing in August 2024 and concluding in February 2025.
This position is contingent upon receiving the USAID award.

Minimum Requirements:
Education: A degree in Nutrition, Food Security, Public Health, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in evaluation methodologies is an advantage.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working Environment: Work is typically performed in an office environment.
Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Travel: This position is primarily remote, with travel to Zimbabwe as required.
