Project Description:  

CNFA is seeking applications from qualified candidates for an Office Manager officer position for the USAID Effective Management of Irrigation Water Activity. The purpose of this activity will be to work with farmers in the West Bank and Gaza (WBG) to improve climate-resilient conservation and management of freshwater resources and associated ecosystems by increasing the availability, quality, and environmental resilience of drinking water supply sources. The duration of this Activity will be four years.    

Position Summary:  

The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing administrative operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and coordinating tasks among staff members. S/he is responsible for organizing resources, managing schedules, and maintaining a productive and organized work environment in Gaza.This position will be reporting to the Director of Operations and Finance.  

Major Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Manage and supervise office administrative staff.
  • Supervise and monitor the workflow and administrative budget.
  • Maintain necessary documentation and reporting in accordance with USAID and CNFA guidelines.
  • Oversee basic bank transfers and office accounting.
  • Coordinate travel logistics for key personnel and visitors.
  • Perform clerical duties, as needed, including copying, data entry, communications, and simple translating.
  • Serve as liaison between project staff members.
  • Maintain necessary documentation and reporting in accordance with USAID and CNFA guidelines.
  • Responsible for the Health Insurance reimbursements management
  • Petty Cash Management
  • Responsible for Office Management, in regards of office supplies , stationary ..etc.
  • Responsible of Assets Management
  • Ensure the office is kept clean and in an orderly condition and manage the flow of visitors to office locations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree required in relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in an administrative position. Experience working on a donor funded project preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
