This position supports USAID’s Feed the Future Knowledge, Data, Learning and Training (KDLT) project, with the objective of improving the emerging USAID Bureau for Resilience and Food Security’s capacity for and quality of knowledge-sharing, data management and analysis, organizational learning, and training.
This part-time Digital AV Tech position (50% or up to 20 hours a week) will support multimedia events in support of the program. These include conferences, webinars, and interactive meetings between project offices around the world. The Digital A/V Tech will be responsible for the setup of equipment, testing and run-through of the event, audio and video recording, facilitation of call-in participants, live-streaming, heavy video and sound editing, and distribution of event materiel for all multimedia events. Candidates will require a hands-on knowledge of A/V equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot network and connectivity problems. Candidates will also be required to conduct heavy editing of presentation materiel in preparation for publishing on the project’s website through several audio and video editing suites.
