Operations Manager – Libya

Job Description

Job Purpose

This role will manage logistics and security for all of Save the Children operations, through direct line management of Field Managers in the two field bases, and a Logistics Coordinator in the Country Office.
It will involve significant liaison with other support services (Finance, HR, Administration) and with programmes teams to understand and facilitate programme implementation efficiently and effectively. It will also involve significant liaison with external agencies and actors with regard to sharing of logistics and security related information.
The role requires significant travel within Libya, and regular field visits to all locations.
