USP is seeking an Organizational Development Consultant for an anticipated donor-funded project to strengthen a National Health Regulatory Authority in southern Africa.
The Organizational Development Consultant will be responsible for the following activities:
· Analyze organizational culture
· Develop and present change management strategy and plan
· Develop curriculum and training timeline to develop change management and communication skills
· Implement change management and communication training
· Document and evaluate the provided training
This position will be remote (preference for applicants based in Africa) and requires travel to southern Africa to deliver trainings.
Qualifications:
· Education/training: A university degree (master, diploma or magister) in business management, project management, organizational development or training/education
· Language: Knowledge of English, C2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
· General professional experience: 5-10 years of professional experience in the organizational development of medium- or large-sized organizations. Additionally desired (but not required) is 5 years of professional experience in the organizational development of regulatory authorities.
· Specific professional experience: 10 years professional experience in designing and implementing training for change management for executive and senior management staff in medium- or large-sized organizations AND/OR 10 years professional experience in change communication skills development for executive and senior management staff in medium- or large-sized organizations
· Leadership/management experience: 5 years of management/leadership experience as team lead or manager in a company (desired)
· Ability to travel to southern Africa to deliver trainings, facilitate workshops and implement project activities
