Job Description

We offer:

An internship of maximum 6 months within the Politics, Press and Information section at the EU Delegation in Tunisia starting in October 2025.

Main tasks :

  • Follow the country’s developments in different areas.
  • Contribute to writing analyses covering the country’s political and social news.
  • Monitor and analyze social networks.
  • Participate in working meetings with Tunisian authorities, civil society, the private sector, and other EU partners in Tunisia, and prepare reports of these meetings.
  • Prepare field missions for colleagues.
  • Participate in communication and visibility activities.
  • Interact with other sections.

We are looking for:

Specific qualifications or prerequisites :

  • Postgraduate degree (Master’s degree or higher) in Political Science, Law, Economics or Communication.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills.
  • Experience in communication and visibility would be an asset.
  • Experience in the MENA region would be an asset.
  • Required languages: very good command of French and English (spoken and written). Fluency in Arabic is essential.

Important information to read before applying

Each selected intern will receive a monthly stipend to cover living expenses. All costs related to travel, visa processing, insurance, and accommodation will be the intern’s responsibility.

Applications from ineligible candidates will not be considered. After all applications have been evaluated, shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited for an interview. Unselected candidates will be notified by email. If the selected candidate cannot provide the required documents, their application will be rejected.

The internship can only be offered in compliance with local legislation as well as the legislation of the country of origin.

Citizens of EU Member States:

  • must provide proof that they will be covered against the risk of pandemic and repatriation costs;

  • must have an entry visa and/or temporary residence permit, where applicable, based on the internship agreement, the duration of the internship and in compliance with local legislation.
