Position Summary: RI is currently expanding its development portfolio in Afghanistan, focusing on the multi-sector humanitarian and development programming in fragile contexts. To this end, RI is seeking a consultant to further develop up to three Expression of Interests (EOIs) into three fully-fledged proposals supporting the delivery of the Afghan Government’s Basic Package of Health Services (EPHS) and Essential Package of Health Services (EPHS). The consultant will play a leading role in ensuring the proposal aligns with donor interests, responds to the public health strategy of the Afghan government and, most importantly, addresses the challenges and opportunities faced by the healthcare system in rural contexts.
