PROGRAM REPRESENTATIVE
AAA Health Program
Arkangelo Ali Association is a health based NGO operating in South Sudan. Present activities include projects in Malaria, Leprosy, TB treatment and TB/HIV Collaborative activities in Bahr el Ghazal region. AAA works under the Verona Fathers, Diocese of Rumbek with several different donors. Special cooperation is with the South Sudan TB Leprosy Buruli Ulcer department of the Ministry of Health.
AAA is searching for qualified Sudanese Health Professional, Clinical Officer or Public Health background to serve as a Program Representative assisting and reporting to the County Director. The candidate will be based in Juba, and represent AAA in all health meetings with other NGOs and the Ministry of Health, Donors, etc.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Support program and project planning, implementation and monitoring
- Advise, support and plan proposals in collaboration with partners
- Collaborate and liaise with the South Sudan Ministry of Health,
- Liaise with other NGOs and Donors, UN agencies
- Work with the German Leprosy Foundation for storage and distribution of drugs
- Represent AAA in partner, NGO, MoH meetings in Juba
- Actively contribute to enhance the AAA network with organizations
- Advocate on behalf of AAA and if necessary present program information in workshops/meetings
- Work together with and under the direct supervision of the County Director
Qualifications experience and skills
- Previous experience working with an International NGO
- Understanding of the political/socio-economic and humanitarian situation in South Sudan
- Be aware of but not hindered by tribal/ethnic influences
- Excellent communication and analytical, evaluation and computer skills
- Fluency in written/spoken English, and spoken Arabic
- Personal competencies musts include tact, diplomacy, integrity and the ability to work efficiently in a multi-cultural environment, under pressure
- Work independently with minimal supervision but able to take directives and work in a team when necessary
