Management Sciences for Health seeks a Project Director and other specialists for a maternal child health program in the countriesof the Meso-American region. This innovative program will support these governments in their efforts to achieve the Millennium Development Goals related to health and to reduce health inequities in the region by expanding coverage and improving the quality of services.
In addition to the Project Director role, other positions include specialists in program financial management and monitoring and evaluation with experience in the region.
QualificationsThe successful candidate will hold a Master’s or Ph.D. in public health and/or an M.D, at least 5 years of experience working in the region and will be completely fluent in Spanish and English. The Director will also have demonstrated senior level management experience working in program leadership, a solid working knowledge of health issues in the region and an understanding of host government health policies, particularly for maternal and child health.
