Job Description

Duration: 6 months Position Description

Looking to build a meaningful career and join a grassroots organization? Join Médecins du Monde!
Working with us means waking up with purpose each day: defending critical causes, enjoying a supportive professional environment, maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and gaining strong career development opportunities. With the diversity of our programs, we offer numerous internal mobility paths, supported by individual and group training to foster your growth.

You might know us without realizing it: Médecins du Monde (Doctors of the World) is a medical humanitarian organization active in nearly 30 countries and 15 regions in France. For over 40 years, we’ve provided care for vulnerable populations while advocating for better access to healthcare. And you don’t have to be a doctor to join us—75% of our staff hold non-medical roles.

We currently employ around 500 staff in France, 1,400 international field workers, and work with 1,500+ volunteers. Civic engagement and volunteering are at the heart of our mission, and all employees and volunteers share the same commitment: solidarity. Join us and bring that value to life!

Context

In France, Médecins du Monde focuses on improving access to healthcare for marginalized populations including homeless individuals, migrants, people who use drugs, and sex workers. We operate across the country via 15 regional delegations, including the Alsace delegation in Strasbourg, which includes 6 staff members and around 100 volunteers.

A flagship program within our French operations is the CASO (Reception, Care and Orientation Center), which aims to improve access to prevention, healthcare, and rights for those most in need.

We are currently seeking a Project Management and Communications Intern to support the implementation of new activities under CASO’s 2024 strategic roadmap.
