All offers of employment are subject to donor funding and approval.

How will it work?

If you are successful, we will invite you for an initial HR interview to discuss your interest and availability for current and future (anticipated) opportunities. We will then conduct a technical interview with programmatic and/or operational colleagues, as relevant, and complete a background check. Upon successful completion of your clear background check, you will then be added to our Proposal Talent Pool database. We will reach out to you about specific opportunities and discuss if your profile is part of the bid.

At Relief International, we are committed to building a representative, inclusive and authentic workplace. We strongly encourage applications from candidates from underrepresented backgrounds and those who bring lived experience of the contexts in which we work.

The salary and the terms and conditions will be dependent on the position location, and the proposal submitted.

Research shows that individuals from minority groups are less likely to apply to jobs, unless they meet every single requirement. If you’re excited about this opportunity, but your experience doesn’t align with every criterion described, we encourage you to apply anyway - you could be exactly what we need!

These positions require standard pre-employment checks; all final offers are subject to donor funding and approval.

About the Organization

Relief International is an international non-profit organization that partners with communities impacted by conflict, climate change and disaster to save lives, build greater resilience and promote long-term health and wellbeing.

People living in fragile settings face complex, interconnected and deep-rooted crises that often tear a hole in the social fabric of communities. When this happens, our teams work closely with community leaders; first focusing on critical health needs, and then, as communities recover, focusing on both health and wellbeing programming that helps reweave the social fabric for greater resilience in the future.

Our team of more than 7,000 staff and local volunteers work in 15 countries across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, providing Health and Nutrition, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Education and Livelihoods programming that is safe, truly local, conflict sensitive, climate smart, evidence based, and reaches those in need.

Relief International is a 60-year-old international NGO alliance that is the product of mergers and alliances between four organizations. Today, Relief International is comprised of Relief International, Inc., Relief International-France, Relief International-UK and Relief International-Europe, all of which are led by a single senior leadership team.
