Position Description:
IBTCI is currently seeking a Reproductive, Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition (RMCH/Nutrition) Evaluation Expert for the USAID Kenya and East Africa Health Population and Nutrition (HPN) APHIAplus Imarisha Activity end of project evaluation. The RMCH/Nutrition will be a senior Kenyan national with extensive experience in the RMCH/Nutrition programming areas.
ResponsibilitiesThe RMCH/Nutrition Expert will provide technical leadership in data collection, analysis of key findings, and the development of substantive and evidence-based conclusions. S/he will be responsible for leading other members of the team in evaluating RMNCH/Nutrition components of the APHIAplus activities. S/he will provide technical area leadership in the data collection, analysis of key findings, development of substantive and evidence based conclusions and action-oriented and practical recommendations, and on facilitating technical discussions geared towards developing implementing strategies on a broad range of development programs. S/he will draft sections of the evaluation report as designated by the Team Leader and develop action-oriented and practical recommendations based on these findings. The RMNCH/Nutrition Expert will facilitate technical discussions with key stakeholders in the evaluation process geared towards developing implementing strategies for ongoing and future programs.
QualificationsEducation: Master’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Reproductive Health or related field
Language: English: Fluent in speaking, reading and writing; Swahili highly desirable
