Main Purpose of the Role
The Resourcing Manager will have overall responsibility for talent acquisition across the business. Working with relevant managers and teams, they will lead on managing recruitment and selection campaigns for all programme management/leadership and technical roles for WFD globally and have responsibility for identifying and attracting expert consultants for WFD’s existing programmes and new business opportunities.
Specifically, the Resourcing Manager will lead on identifying and submitting expert profiles to DAI as part of the EU Beneficiaries Framework Contract and resourcing the provision of UK election observers for election observation missions (organised by the EU and the OSCE).
They will ensure WFD maintain a strong profile in the talent market through active networking and promotion of WFD career opportunities.
The post holder will also be responsible for developing/strengthening and managing all of the processes and systems underpinning WFD’s resourcing needs.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience
· Experience of managing end to end recruitment and selection processes
· Experience of applying a broad range of resourcing techniques to identify and source talent (including external expertise resourcing providers i.e. Devex, Development Aid, Assortis, etc).
· Experience of resourcing a range of skills and expertise in the international aid/development field
· Strong existing professional networks/relationships with relevant contacts in resourcing (in the international aid/development field highly desirable)
· Strong communication skills, with ability to adapt style to different audience
