Seeking Energy Specialists for Long-Term Project Work in SOUTH Asia (India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, The Maldives, Bhutan)

Job Description

Description: Deloitte is currently seeking local and expatriate staff for roles on the upcoming USAID/India activity as part of the Asia EDGE initiative. It is anticipated this activity will be based in Delhi, India (or possibly somewhere else in the South Asia region), and will address the following components:

Component 1: Enhanced Regional Energy Markets and Integration

Component 2: Deployment of Advanced Energy Solutions and Systems

Component 3: High Technical and Financial Performing Modern Utilities

Component 4: Private Sector Investment and Services

Qualifications and Expectations Sought

• Advanced degree in the power/energy/technology-oriented field, public administration, public policy, law, business administration, or another relevant field
• 10+ years of technical experience implementing donor-funding activities to improve performance of energy utilities, promote advanced energy solutions, lead the adoption of best-value energy procurement practices, and enhance regional energy trade
• Demonstrated experience working among senior-level counterparts in the energy sectors of India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, The Maldives, and/or Bhutan
• Demonstrated experience working in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, The Maldives, and/or Bhutan
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Experience working successfully with USAID
• Strong communication skills
• Fluency (spoken and written) in English with strong oral and written presentation skills
• Ability to reside in and travel throughout India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, The Maldives, and/or Bhutan
