Job Title: Senior International Consultant (PacificIslands & SE Asia)

Location: Team members will be required todemonstrate flexibility and commit to deployments in project offices across the Pacific Islands or Southeast Asia for periods ranging from 3 months to 3 years.

Salary: commensurate with experience and local/international conditions plus allowances

initiatives and projects? We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned individual to join our Global Development Team as a Senior International Consultant. In this role, you will be a key player in leading client assignments, managing project teams and other GDT consultants, shaping strategic initiatives and programmes, and contributing significantly to the growth and success of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior International Consultant at Cognition Learning Group, you will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping external projects that deliver significant impact to learners,communities and governments. You will be deployed flexibly to provide high
level support and leadership which could include:

  • Leadershipand Strategy: Leading International Projects, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment while delivering the business objectives of the Global Development team.
  • Project/Programme Management: Spearheading and overseeing projects and programmes in our core areas of expertise, ranging from small to large scale, delivering impactful learning solutions and outcomes.
  • Client Engagement: Leading the development of strong relationships with donor agencies, government clients and other stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of programmes and services and positioning the group for future opportunities.
  • StrategicThinking: Demonstrating strategic thinking and high adaptability in navigating diverse projects and contexts, contributing to successful project outcomes.
  • Thought Leadership: Contributing significantly to the development and implementation of thought leadership initiatives, influencing the direction and growth of our group businesses.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading teams and strategic projects at a senior level, preferably in International Aid.
  • Interest and Expertise: In-depth knowledge and expertise across multiple areas of our core offer - learning design principles, change management, leadership development, professional development, curriculum design, EdTech/AI, etc.
  • International Exposure: Demonstrable experience in international education, programme management or educational consultancy roles.
  • Consultancy/Programme Management Skills: Proven ability in project design, research, and effective collaboration in complex delivery teams internationally.
  • Excellent Writing Skills: Strong proficiency in written communication for high-quality research, business proposals, and consultancy services.
