Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

CARE’s Senior Manager of Campaigns facilitates a team of marketing colleagues and other internal and external stakeholders in the development, execution and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and business growth. This position requires exceptional project management skills, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of marketing principles, data analysis, and campaign building. 

The Senior Manager of Campaigns should expect to work collaboratively with CARE’s creative director and members of the larger creative team as well as members of the PR, events, celebrity management and operations teams.  The position reports to the AVP of Marketing Operations.

This position is open anywhere in the US remotely where CARE operates, or hybrid in DC, NYC and Atlanta.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Development and Execution 

  • Manage the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing campaign plans across various channels, including digital, social media, email, events, content marketing, public relations, and celebrity & supporter engagement. Keep abreast of the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.

Team Leadership and Management 

  • Manage ad-hoc teams of marketing professionals and other CARE stakeholders, providing direction, support, and project management. Collaborate with fundraising, advocacy, programs and other teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned. 

Performance Analysis and Optimization

  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement, making data-driven decisions to optimize campaign effectiveness. 

Reporting and Communication 

  • Prepare and present campaign reports to stakeholders, effectively communicating results, insights, and recommendations. 

Required Qualifications:

  • College Degree
  • 5-8 years+ marketing campaign management experience
  • Project Management: Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that align with business goals, engage team members and deliver results.
  • Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, providing guidance and support.
  • Campaign Management: Experience in planning, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communications and Presentation: Excellent communication skills to present campaign plans, results and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
