Job Title: Senior Manager of Fundraising Program Operations
Position Summary:
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (“the Foundation”) is seeking top talent for its Senior Manager of Fundraising Program Operations position. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising Operations, this position serves as an operational leader for the Foundation’s core fundraising programs, such as Peer-to-Peer Fundraising, Direct Response, Donor Relations, and Special Events. This role partners closely with stakeholders across the enterprise, including Development, Technology, Finance, and Strategic Planning. Overseeing a small team, this role will partner closely with Technology teams – Product and Data Systems – to maximize the Foundation’s technology investments during an ambitious comprehensive campaign, and drive adoption of new or existing technologies to achieve revenue and engagement goals.
This position can be based anywhere in the U.S. and will be expected to work east coast hours (standard business hours are 9:00am – 5:00pmET).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage operational support related to the Foundation’s core fundraising programs, such as Special Events, Peer to Peer, Direct Response and Donor Relations
- Identify workflows and resources to execute Development’s technology roadmap in partnership with the Foundation’s Product team, bridging the gap between business unit and enterprise-driven goals
- Evaluate and prioritize the needs of Development’s revenue programs and projects from a technology lens; make recommendations related to resourcing, adding or removing products and updating usage of existing product features and capabilities in concert with the Data Systems and Product teams
- In collaboration with the Technology team, oversee the implementation and improvement of new processes and technologies for the Development Business Unit, with a specific focus on improving Special Event registration processing
- Coordinate key working groups and meetings with internal and external technology stakeholders across Development, prioritizing the most pressing needs across fundraising programs
- Directly manage, coach, and support the development of a small team
- Partner closely with the CRM Technology team to evaluate new tools and features, with a focus on integration with the Foundation’s CRM (Salesforce) and data quality; Explore ways to better leverage the CRM to meet operational needs of Development programs
- Implement and maintain a roadmap for GoFundMe Pro, the Foundation’s online donation and community events platform, that tests new product features and tools to drive impact across Direct Response, Peer-to-Peer, and Special Event fundraising campaigns
- Ensure policies and procedures are compliant, in accordance with legal, technology, and Development leadership, that safeguard donor data and preferences throughout the Foundation’s tech stack
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience overseeing nonprofit operations, programs, or projects with significant technology and systems implications
- Proven experience designing and scaling processes, tools, and infrastructure within a nonprofit technology stack
- Foundational experience leading and managing a team, including setting strategy and guiding execution
- Strong understanding of fundraising operations, donor lifecycles, and campaign best practices, with the ability to prioritize operational needs in support of revenue goals
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce; familiarity with DOMO is a plus
- Knowledge of nonprofit technology standards, best practices, and product management concepts, including road mapping and partnership with centralized product/technology teams
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
- Comfortable operating in campaign-driven environments with evolving priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; diplomatic, solutions-oriented, and effective in complex environments
- Strong coaching mindset, committed to giving and receiving actionable feedback
- Self-directed, sound judgment, highly collaborative, and eager to learn
- Experience with budgeting and business model analysis preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Individual compensation for this role is dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, skillsets, and applicable laws. In addition to salary, the Foundation offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Salary Range
$95,000 - $115,000 USD
