The Senior Network Engineer will be primarily responsible for the entire life cycle of Network and Telecommunications global solutions and platforms, including: research and development, planning, implementation, operations, analysis, and technology migration for video, voice, and data communication systems worldwide. You will participate in capacity planning, support the creation and the maintenance of network disaster recovery plans and monitor all network performance activities. You will screen the network for attempted intrusions as well as design and implement appropriate network security measures and procedures

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Develops strategies, designs and manages the operation of the platform or project under network/ telecom responsibilities, which includes global platforms and projects.
  • Conducts short- and long-term planning to meet requirements.
  • Certifies the functionality of components and services and ensures deployment meets client’s expectations.
  • Recommends network design changes/enhancements for improved systems availability and performance.
  • Works with vendors to esolve network / telecommunications problems.

REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
  • Requires 7-10 years of relevant networking work experience.
  • Expertise in design, implementation, and operations is required.
  • CCIE and/or CCNP or equivalent experience
