PAE-REACT is seeking qualified US citizen candidates for nomination to the post of Senior Project Officer (Human Dimension) (VNUZBS00109), a seconded position with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan. The post is at the Senior Professional level and requires a degree in international studies, public policy, political science or law or related fields; with 6+ years of experience in either public administration, relevant international organizations, civic associations (including NGOs), political parties/affairs, or economic and political development -including field experience in Democratization, Rule of Law, Justice/legal or human rights issues. Post requires knowledge of regional political history and developments; background in project monitoring and evaluation; ability to establish contact and develop confident relations with the local population and the ability to work with government officials and institutions; organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills; as well as professional fluency in English and Russian or Uzbek and ability to draft documents clearly and concisely; gender sensitivity and willingness to work with diverse people. Desirable: work experience in Central Asia or the Commonwealth of Independent States; preferably in an international environment or within operational Missions; and knowledge of OSCE principles and commitments.
