The Ministry of Tourism, Trade, Commerce and Ni-Vanuatu Business (MTTCNVB) is seeking the services of a Senior Trade Advisor (STA) to assist the Vanuatu Government through the MTTCNVB to implement the government’s agenda on trade mainstreaming and to deliver crucial reforms for self-sustained economic growth. The STA will also work to promote skills and knowledge transfer to the government of Vanuatu, with lasting benefits on policy ownership and the long term sustainability of national policymaking.
The STA will be providing services to the office of the Director-General and the Cooperate Services Unit (CSU) of the MTTCNVB.
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
The STA will be recruited for a period of 2 years starting in October 2019 (or when the contract is signed) through to June 2021.
