World Learning seeks a short-term consultant to provide proposal design, review, and writing support to World Learning staff in preparation for upcoming proposals focused on exchange programs for students around the world.

DESCription of needs and services· Actively participate in technical design sessions, providing inputs around topics relating to pre- through post-exchange programming course curriculum, among others
· Identify and analyze potential solutions in response to programmatic challenges through desk research and ideation with specialists across the organization
· Draft technical narrative sections and annexes that are both compliant with the solicitation and compelling to the donor
· Participate in quality control milestones, reviewing technical narrative and annex drafts, providing written feedback, and participating in review meetings
· Ensure seamless integration of all inputs and feedback from reviewers on assigned technical sections and annexes
Requirements· Bachelor’s degree in international relations, international development, international education, or related field and at least seven years of relevant experience; master’s preferred
· Five years of experience in program design and/or management of USG-funded exchange programs
· Familiarity with USG requirements for proposal compliance and responsiveness
· Strong technical writing, editing, and design skills; USG proposal writing skills preferred
· Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise work products
· Knowledge of competitive proposal processes
· Strong organizational management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, adhere to tight deadlines, and respond with flexibility in a fast-paced environment
· Strong knowledge in the international development field and global student exchanges
· Commitment to international education and a value-driven work environment
