UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a Social Welfare Consultant, L-3, in its Dili Office in Timor Leste.
Purpose: To build on existing efforts to build government and civil society capacity to provide child-sensitive services for cases of violence, exploitation and abuse.

Minimum Requirements * University Degree (MA or PhD or equivalence) in Social Welfare * At least 10 years professional experience in social welfare, including working with governments; * Demonstrated expertise in conducting and planning trainings related to social welfare and child protection, case management in particular * Professional experience working with and for Government partners * Excellent interpersonal skills, networking and communication. * Fluency English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Bahasa Indonesian, Tetum or Portuguese is an asset. * Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point and other).
