Objectives

To support the FinTech Adoption and Socialisation programme in Jalisco and Mexico City (CDMX) and contribute to strengthening the FinTech sector in Mexico through dynamic interactions with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and End Users. This role will promote FinTech products and services with local knowledge and using content designed to promote financial education as part of Caravana FinTech project.

Description

The Socialisation and Adoption Officer for Jalisco & CDMX will preferably be a recent graduate or young professional with interest in financial inclusion, technology and international development. The Officer will support the FinTech Socialisation and Adoption programme in Jalisco and CDMX. The Officer’s role will be to design and execute Caravana FinTech’s activities related to research, public relations, logistics, monitoring and documentation.

Profile

The team looks for a recent graduate or a young student who demonstrate knowledge in communication strategies, public relations and financial inclusion that also possess a clear understanding of the main stakeholders of Jalisco and CDMX. A person capable of generating relationships with different actors and showing interest in activities that can contribute to creating more inclusive social and economic opportunities.

Moreover, we look for a person with flexibility, resilience and capacity to work independently. The project involves fieldwork (once the health restrictions removed), so this role should prepare educational material, attend to meetings and monitor result of activities without the necessity of an office. Preferably, the selected candidate should live in Jalisco and have disposition to travel to Mexico City on a regular basis.

Type of position Consultancy contract for a fixed period of time. Duration

63 days probation period with the possibility of an extension, if suitable candidate is approved.
