ENTERPRISE PARTNERS (EP) is a social enterprise aiming to facilitate market development in the agro-industrial and finance sectors in order to spur innovation and investments by firms that create jobs (especially for women) and increase income of poor people.
At the Hawassa Industrial Park, an estimated 30,000 work force (majority being women) will be employed by the Ready Made Garment (RMG) industry in the next three years. These workers need to receive Soft Skills Training in order to understand the industrial culture and work practices and give them the necessary knowledge and skills to deal with working in unfamiliar circumstances.
In partnership with the Ethiopian Textile Development Institute (ETIDI), EP is seeking to contract a highly competent training firm to provide this Soft Skills Training Service over a period of 24 months with the aim to train approximately 1,500 workers per month in Hawassa.
The desired consultancy
Interested firms must have the following requirements:
• A minimum of five years of proven, firm-level, soft skills training provision experience in the demand-driven Ready Made Garment (RMG) sector or similar manufacturing industries based on a standardised soft skill curricula.
• Ability to recruit and manage trainers that have suitable experience and qualifications in human resource management, organizational development, psychology, sociology and industrial relations.
• Must be a registered legal entity in Ethiopia with a verifiable track record and must be compliant with all fiscal reporting requirements.
