SEEKING: South African based Early Childhood Development (ECD) Specialist
.• Providing technical guidance on relevant policies affecting ECD in South Africa.
• Support and contribute to the development of a policy-review analysis with a report detailing options for implementing a compulsory second year of ECD in South Africa.
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in Education, Social Sciences, Economics, or related subject
• 15 + years’ experience in ECD in South Africa, including work with the Department of Basic Education
• Knowledge of relevant policies affecting ECD in South Africa
• Knowledge of the Medium Term Strategic Framework (MTSF) and National Development Plan: Vision 2030 (NDP) as pertains to ECD
