Job Description

Talent Acquisition Manager, Human Resources (Durham, NC; Chicago, IL; Washington, DC; San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; or Remote) We are looking for an exceptionally organized, service-oriented Talent Acquisition professional who is passionate about finding the right talent to serve mission-driven and innovative clients and power Arabella to its next stage. A key member of Arabella’s People Team, the Talent Acquisition Manager will serve as a strategic partner to our hiring teams, recruiting talent across a broad spectrum of roles, with a focus on financial and accounting talent. The right candidate will be well-versed in ensuring exceptional candidate experience, serve as a thought partner and advisor to hiring managers, and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. Essential Responsibilities  
  • Create and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers and serve as a trusted advisor in selecting the best possible talent for their teams   
  • Manage multiple, equitable hiring processes simultaneously, for junior to mid-level roles, including sourcing candidates; reviewing resumes; scheduling assessments and interviews; checking references; making offers  
  • Identify and drive operational and technological improvements in the recruiting systems and processes to ensure efficiencies
  • Track the effectiveness and efficiency of Arabella’s recruitment process, including reporting and trends
  • Deliver an exceptional experience for all candidates and hiring teams firmwide by responding to all inquiries in a timely manner and ensuring communications are warm and accessible   
  • Source candidates and build talent pipelines using various methods including job boards, social media, and networking, with a focus on finance/accounting talent
  • Manage logistics for the firm’s recruiting events, such as career fairs and virtual information sessions, including setting up events and coordinating marketing materials  
  • Serve as a model ambassador for Arabella by representing the firm at networking events and job fairs
  • Support the new hire orientation and onboarding, end-to-end recruitment, pipeline building, employer branding, and other talent acquisition-related projects and activities, as needed
  • Support the broader People team’s efforts to meet and exceed customer service standards, as needed
   To Be Successful in This Role, You’ll Need  
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience as an in-house recruiter, agency recruiter, or student/campus recruiter, including 1 or more years of experience in financial/accounting sourcing and/or recruiting preferred
  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Previous experience with an applicant tracking system, i.e. Newton, Jazz HR, or Paycor Recruiting, or database management preferred
  • Experience serving as a strategic thought partner to clients, teams, or departments that are hiring
  • Experience implementing strategic talent acquisition initiatives to attract, source, and build pipelines of top talent, with a focus on finance and accounting talent preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills  
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and manage projects effectively
  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of best practices in recruiting with a diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging lens
  • Experience advising and consulting through novel situations to provide solutions creatively and adaptively
