An exciting opportunity exists for a Team Leader Information & Communication Technology Services (ICT) to join the Secretariat. The Team Leader ICT will be accountable to the Director, Corporate Services Programme in leading and managing the Information & Communication Technology Services Section to manage and support information & communication technology services to the Forum Secretariat.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Applicants should have a first degree in Information Technology or similar Tertiary education with at least five years experience in an Information Technology Leadership role and in support of a range of IT areas like; Users and user equipment, Systems, Network, Security and applications. Applicants should also have experience at a senior level to information technology management.
Applicants must also have experience required to manage the information technology function including long term planning, resource management, risk management, disaster recovery, policy and procedures, budgeting, project management, work-flow planning and monitoring and team leadership.
About the BenefitsThe appointment will carry a competitive remuneration and benefits package including medical and life insurance, housing and education for dependent children. The starting salary will be in the range of SDR34,537 to SDR 38,854 per annum. At the 1 January 2015 exchange rate this salary range was equivalent to FJD99,847 to FJD112,327. For non-Fiji nationals, this salary may be tax-free.

The Pacific Islands Forum was founded in August 1971 and currently comprises 16 independent and self-governing states in the Pacific. Forum Leaders meet annually to develop collective responses to regional issues.
The Forum’s administrative arm is the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, based in Suva, Fiji. It acts as the Secretariat for Forum-related events, implements decisions by the Leaders, facilitates the delivery of development assistance to member states, and undertakes the political and legal mandates of Forum meetings. The Forum Secretariat is also mandated to coordinate the implementation of the Framework for Pacific Regionalism.
