We are looking for a Team Leader / Senior Civil Engineer specialising in water supply and drainage networks of roads or related urban infrastructure networks for an on-going project in northern Vietnam. This is a full time contract of 45 months (~4 years) position.
Duties and responsibilities for this position include:
The Team Leader will assist the local and provincial project management unit in overall project management in works relating to:
- Review of feasibility study and preliminary designs
- Planning and coordinating all project activities
- Assisting in areas of project management, administration, and technical support
- Preparing annual budget estimates in coordination with local authorities
- Coordinating works relating to areas of ensuring quality control of financial processes, budgets, and progress
- Conducting regular monitoring of site works and overall project progress
- Managing team inputs and ensuring effective and efficient use of resources / consultant services
- Preparation of periodical project progress reports and project completion reports required by the local authority and client
- Instructing the design of water supply and drainage networks for roads.
- Coordinating closely with counterparts and partnering consultants to integrate designs of expanded water supply and drainage networks for roads, and securing systematic completeness.
Requirements:
- More than 15 years experience in water supply and drainage network infrastructure.
- More than 10 years international experience in project management of water supply and drainage network designs for roads and related infrastructure projects in developing countries.
- Have extensive experience in South East Asia countries with Vietnam experience preferred.
- A professionally qualified civil engineer with a postgraduate diploma / postgraduate degree in the related field.
