*Preferred location: Manila, Philippines. Other locations to be determined by home country of successful candidate in Africa, Europe, Asia or Australasia where WVI is registered to operate.

Here’s where you come in:

As Technical Advisor, Livelihoods, you will provide high quality Livelihoods technical assistance to WVs National Offices (NOs) in programme design, staff training, execution, monitoring, evaluation and scale-up of core project models in alignment with World Vision’s strategy. Our goal is to help families who are poor have more economically sustainable futures and be in a position to provide better for their children. The role also includes the development of proposals to a range of possible donors including Government, businesses, institutions and/or foundations as requested by NOs or WVs Support Offices (SOs). You could also be deployed for disaster response and other requests from our internal clients.

Requirements include:

  • 5 years (min) field level experience in Livelihoods.
  • Master’s degree in a field consistent with the position.
  • Donor and grants experience necessary.
  • Technical Livelihoods Practitioner/contributor Sector Design Monitoring & Evaluation (DM&E) experience.
  • Fluency in English.
  • The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
