Pact seeks an experienced Technical Program Director for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Improving HIV Treatment in the Dominican Republic under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). This project provide high-quality HIV clinical services to people living with HIV, including improving access to HIV testing, providing HIV treatment and TB preventive therapy using international standards, and retaining people living with HIV on lifelong quality treatment to ensure they are virally suppressed. Communities served include Haitian migrants and their descendants. This position is contingent upon award.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Technical Director will provide technical leadership and expert advice on strategies and interventions to strengthen HIV and TB programming and service delivery capacity at all levels and across government, civil society, and community partners to effectively plan and deliver essential HIV services for vulnerable populations.
Master’s degree and 9+ years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, including 5 years of management experience.
Knowledge of the political, social, and economic context of Dominican Republic.
