The MESA program aims at strengthening the programmatic and financial support to AUC in the implementation of the MESA program. Over the next months, the workload to will be largely increasing due to the start of the grants execution and the implementation of other two contracts namely training and infrastructures. Grant monitoring and evaluation system will become crucial as the system will have to feed the interim report on a semi-annual basis and inform the decision mechanisms system. Monitoring and support to the two contracts namely infrastructure and training will be another area where support from the MESA central office is required. Verification on financial documentation and check on compliance and quality criteria will be also be essential.
