Palladium is seeking a telemedicine expert to support the pursuit of a business development opportunity in the telehealth and telemedicine industries.

Specifically, this opportunity is intended to foster an international best practice-driven telemedicine regulatory framework in Indonesia through three core activities: (a) assessment of the current regulation of telemedicine; (b) development of recommendations to improve the regulatory framework; and (c) facilitation of the adoption and implementation of the new framework.

The Consultant will leverage their expertise to support Palladium’s team to conduct an organisational capacity assessment of companies and organisation providing, or with the intention to provide telemedicine services in Indonesia.
The consultant will be expected to:

  • Describe the current telemedicine provider landscape
  • Systematically assess capacity within a range of private and public organisations to deliver telemedicine under a regulatory environment based on leading practices
  • Produce a report sharing findings and an analysis of the potential impact of improved regulation on the telemedicine market

    This 15-month programme will support the Ministry of Health in the development of a clear, international best practice-driven telemedicine regulatory framework, achieved through three core activities: (a) assessment of the current regulation of telemedicine; (b) development of recommendations to improve the regulatory framework; and (c) facilitation of the adoption and implementation of the new framework. Through this work, Indonesia’s telemedicine market should operate smoothly, fairly, and securely, thereby giving domestic and foreign firms the confidence to invest in the telemedicine sector.


    Required Qualifications

    Required
  • Health economist or Business analyst specialising in healthcare
  • Experience of managing and/or assessing healthcare institutions (hospitals etc.)
  • Fluent Bahasa speaker

    Desired
  • Advanced level spoken and written English
