Job Description

Duration: 12 months

Your role

As Trainee in the Pensions and Insurances team you will:
  • process and reconcile members’ investment transactions;
  • prepare data and graphics for the reports provided to the Pension Fund Investment Committee;
  • liaise with the in-house accounting team and the external custodian on operational matters;
  • assist in preparing monthly financial statements, data transfers and the membership report;
  • test proposed improvements to self-service apps;
  • communicate with members on pension and insurance issues;
  • help automate insurance administration tools and applications.

Qualifications, experience and skills

Essential:
  • a bachelor’s degree or higher in HR management, business administration, employment and/or industrial relations, social or organisational psychology, accounting, law (preferably EU employment and/or social security law), data science, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, business analytics or another relevant discipline;
  • excellent analytical and conceptual skills, and an interest in translating complex technical content into management reports;
  • a very good knowledge of the MS Office package;
  • an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Desired:
  • a qualification in HR, or work experience in HR;
  • a good understanding of data and data processing skills;
  • practical experience using HR IT solutions;
  • knowledge of one or more of the SAP Human Capital Management modules.
