Job Description
PAE seeks a Unit Chief of Regional Support Manager who will have overall responsibility for in-country logistics support for up to seven regions on our Justice Sector Support Program in Afghanistan.
The ideal candidate will be expected to:
Plan, coordinate, and synchronize with the following: the Deputy Chief of Team - Logisitics Manager (DCOT-L), the Unit Chief of Program Support, and the Unit Chief of Procurement Support, the Unit Chief of Logistics and Transportation Support Managers, as well as the Security, and Regional Section Chief on a day-to-day basis for logistics support requirements such as: IT/Communication, personnel, supplies, transportation, and security supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must have 8 or more years of logistics and transportation experience, preferably in the country of Afghanistan;
- Bachelor’s degree in Management
- ability to use personal computers and standard desktop software to compose reports, correspondence, and memorandums;
- Review drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage, to including developing standard operating procedures, preparing requirements documents, procurement requests and shipping documents. Prior experience working in Afghanistan a plus;
- Must have the ability to prioritize and coordinate work efforts in a dynamic, demanding environment to meet customer expectations.
- Must have the ability to understand and formulate statements of work, procurement requests
- Must be able to develop processes and procedures in compliance with corporate guidelines and government contractual and acquisition regulations (FAR);
- Ability to collect and prepare business reports
- Must hold current Secret Clearance
- Must be ble to be medically cleared to perform on contract.
